Hi, welcome!

I’m Anika, and I believe inner peace is within your reach.

This belief comes from my own experiences with grief and the self-discovery that followed. Along the way, I learned the importance of living in alignment with my core values, practicing self-compassion, and nurturing a sense of peace in both my inner and outer worlds.

I understand that seeking therapy can feel vulnerable—sometimes even uncomfortable, as though it’s an admission of weakness. But I see therapy as a powerful opportunity for growth: a way to deepen your self-awareness, build resilience, and face life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity.

My personal journey of self-discovery inspired me to transition from a career in communications to one that truly aligns with my values, and that’s how Anika Bull Therapy was born. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you can feel comfortable and understood. Together, we’ll navigate life’s complexities using straightforward language, a touch of humour, and an approach tailored specifically for you.

My Story

I grew up in Karachi, in a home where different cultures met and intertwined. Those early experiences deeply shaped my understanding of identity and belonging, sparking a lifelong curiosity about people and their stories.

As a mixed-race therapist, I have a personal and professional understanding of the complexities of navigating life between cultures. I know how challenging it can be to reconcile different parts of yourself or to feel like you don’t belong fully in any one space. Supporting clients through these experiences is a particular passion of mine.

At the same time, I work with clients from all walks of life, helping them navigate a variety of challenges—from anxiety and depression to burnout and relationship issues. My aim is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you on your journey.

I’ve lived in four countries, travelled widely, and eventually settled in Australia, where my partner and I are raising our family in a multicultural home. These experiences continue to shape my approach as a therapist and help me connect with clients from diverse backgrounds. I feel honoured to do this work and to support my clients in creating lives that feel true and fulfilling to them.

Outside of therapy, I love staying active, spending time with family, and finding peace in nature with my dogs.
