Integrative Therapy
The way I show up as a therapist has been shaped by my work as a clinician in the community mental health space. Here, I supported individuals who were living with a range of mental illnesses and had their own unique challenging circumstances. My background as a communications professional and life experiences also influence my therapeutic style and approach to supporting clients.
I understand that we are all incredibly unique, which is why my approach is integrative. It combines neuroscience to help you explore the complexities of your nervous system, psychological interventions to explore pathways that facilitate meaningful changes and communication skills so you can begin communicating assertively with others and compassionately with yourself. To tie this all together, we can draw upon Eastern wisdom for perspective shifts and to support you in regulating your nervous system through body and breath. I embody a fusion of East and West in my therapeutic approach because that fusion is me; I myself am a mix of East and West.
My therapeutic style is empathetic and inclusive. I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where you can freely express yourself; a non-judgmental pod within which everything is private, one that emulates hope and empowerment.
I am particularly interested in supporting individuals living with anxiety, those adapting to life alongside grief, people from underrecognised communities and those with intercultural backgrounds.

INFORMED BY THE FOLLOWING INTERVENTIONS
Acceptance Commitment Therapy
ACT is a powerful intervention driven by exploring your strengths and values, it has a light and validating feel to it. It’s one of my favourite interventions to incorporate into session plans.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
CBT can help improve our awareness levels and shift our perspective on worrying thoughts whilst supporting us to engage in behaviours that promote our well-being.
Compassion Focused Therapy
CFT is a beautiful intervention that can help tame your inner voice through strategies that promote self-compassion and consideration towards others.
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy
I incorporate specific emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness skills from DBT into my approach as needed.
Solution Focused Therapy
One of the reasons you’re probably considering therapy is to find solutions to the challenges you're facing. SFT supports a future-focused approach and helps with addressing your problems.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness makes its way into most sessions through guided meditations, grounding techniques, and awareness-building skills. Don't worry, with practice, you'll get the hang of it.

HOW IT WORKS
We’ll start with a consult call
It’s brave to reach out for help and support. It really is.
Regardless of where you are in your mental health journey, through person-centred care, we work together to find solutions to your problems, starting with a complimentary twenty minute consultation to discuss your unique needs and to see if the therapeutic alliance feels like a good fit.
01
We’ll make a personalised plan
Collaboratively, we put together a counselling plan, where you begin to think about your goals. This process helps you become aware of your current circumstances and encourages you to consider the direction you’d like to move forward in. It also enables us to identify which therapeutic interventions, skills, and tools can be practiced and applied in your daily life, helping you to start reaching your goals.
02
We’ll take it one step at a time
Working on ourselves and the inevitable knocks we take in life takes courage. Some are in therapy for extended periods and have worked with multiple therapists, while others find they can move forward after a few sessions. We’re all unique and go at our own pace. A helpful way to approach therapy is to remember that it is a space for learning and your daily life is where you apply those learnings. As an outcome-focused therapist, I want the best for you, so whatever your pace, I'm here to support you every step of the way.
